This helpful website helps you find out what the main parts of a book are. Endpapers are the two sheets of paper that live at the beginning and the end of a book. Some books have these with special designs or bright colors to enrich the design. The casewrap is what hardcover books have under the jacket. Nowadays, books come with laminated paper used as casewraps that allow them to have different patters, colors, and images printed on them. The head text of the book after all the signatures have been gathered is called the Book Block. The gutter is the inside margin that separates the binding and he headband is the strip used at the top and bottom of a casebound book to fill in the gap between the spine and cover. The back of a bound book where the front and the back covers connect is called the backbone. Other book vocabulary consists of mock-up, format, proof, saddle stitch, and F&G.

I am definitely delighted to know a lot more about parts of a book. Of course, everyone knows what the cover or spine is. However, this website goes into detail explaining each part of a book. It even has a labeled picture for those visual learners.
