Schlitz, L. A. (2007).
Good masters, sweet ladies Boston, MA:
Candlewick Press.
Summary: This
book includes an incredible collection of unique monologues told by different
children living in a Medieval Village. They each describe the different
people, the things they did, and everything they went through. Diseases and
poverty were a big problem. It simply shows how difficult it was to live back
then.
Review: A
beautiful and well-written book that is meant to be performed on stage. It is a
great way to get everyone in class involved and engaged. Students ranging in
ages 9-14 will definitely enjoy it.
