Summary: It is a simple,
sweet story about a kitten who in her wide-eyed innocence, sees a bowl of milk
in the sky and tries to drink from it. She has mistaken a full moon for a bowl
of milk. The kitten's attempts to capture it result in many troubles and
misadventures. The adventure is full of mistakes and disappointment, but a welcome
treat is waiting for the lovely kitten at the end.
Review: The story is
adorable and the artwork is astonishing. It is a book for early readers because
of its simplicity. The writing is modest, yet, fun and the character of the
little kitten is strong, well driven, and strives for what she wants. Which at
the end she got.
