How Have I Grown?

Reid, M., & Speirs, J. (1995). How have I grown? New York: Scholastic.

Summary: A young girl remembers when she was just a baby. Some of the things she would do were sleep, cry, and eat. Then she grew a little and began walking and eating on her own. The years went by and she started Pre School. She dressed herself and played pretend. Now, she is in kindergarten and thinking, “How have I Grown?”

Review: It is such a cute story to read to kindergarten students to help them think about the things they would do when they were younger. Fun activities can be incorporated like sharing with the class something they recall from when they were babies.  The colors are not very bright but the illustrations are still well thought.
