Me On The Map

SWEENEY, J. (2018). ME ON THE MAP. S.l.: DRAGONFLY.

Summary: A young girl places herself on a map of her room. She then continues by placing her room on a map of her house, her house on a map of her street, her street on a map of her town, and it keeps on until she places her country in a map of the world.

Review: This is an excellent book for kinder and first grade students to learn about maps. It teaches them vocabulary about maps, location, and direction. It is an easy way to integrate social studies with reading. Students can then draw their own maps of their house and even city.
