Summary: Louie and
Ralphie want to be tough and mean just like their dad, Big Lou. He constantly
tells them that there are two kids of people, tough and soft. Of course they
want to be the tough kind. They try so hard to be mean, but somehow they always
end up being the good guys. When their dad finds out, he surprisingly praises
them for everything they have done and encourages them to do good things from
now on.
Review: It is a
great chapter book for beginners. I love how it shows that Louie and Ralphie
want to be just like their dad, but at the end they all end up changing. It
demonstrates that it is okay to be who you are no matter what others may thing
