Summary: It is a story with three parts. Fox is always trying to trick
the pig. When he decides to do it again by hiding in a box, everything comes out wrong when the
pig squishes him flat. The fox continues to try to trick pig but after many
tries he finally realizes that he is not doing the right thing.
Review: It won
the Theodore Suess Geisel Honor Award in 2016. It is a great read for first and
second graders. I love how the book has a section with comprehension questions
to check for understanding. It can also be a great lesson on things you
shouldn’t do to others.
